The Pass rate of HSC 2021 is 95.26%

Because of the COVID, several series of lockdowns were announced in the country. But finally, after a lot of stressful events, the HSC and equivalent exam for 2021 took place. The exams were taken on a shorter syllabus with fewer marks distribution considering the pandemic. The results were declared earlier this year and the pass rate is a remarkable 95.26%!

Due to the pandemic in 2020, the HSC candidates of that year couldn’t sit for the HSC examination. For this reason, the result of 2020’s HSC was made considering the result of the JSC and SSC exams. In that result, 13,57,377 students passed and 6,1807 students received a GPA-5. Compared to the 2020 HSC exam, 27,362 more students received GPA-5 in 2021’s HSC examination.

The prime minister of Bangladesh Sheik Hasina announced the result of HSC 2021 from the Ganabhaban. Later on, Dr. Dipu Moni, the education minister of Bangladesh briefly disclosed the result in a news conference held in the International Mother Language Institute.

Because of the pandemic, the government had to skip the 2020 HSC examination. But for the 2021 HSC batch, the government didn’t want them to skip the HSC exam this time. So the HSC exam of 2021 was delayed for 8 months and was finally taken on 2nd December of last year. The exams were taken on limited subjects like English and Bangla and a shorter syllabus.

Conclusion

The re-scrutiny results of the HSC exam have been declared on 13th March 2022. The HSC students of 2021 can now finally begin their journey to University life. The government was concerned and for that reason, it didn’t want another batch to skip through such an important examination. As this is vital for a student’s academic career.

The schools and colleges are now gearing up for the preparatory exams of SSC and HSC as the possible dates of these examinations were also declared a few days ago. This year’s exam will also be held on fewer subjects and with a shortened syllabus. But a few more mandatory subjects were also added.

As more information becomes available, we’ll cover those. Hope this post was helpful, if you have any questions or queries, feel free to ask those in the comment below.
