The routine for the 2022 HSC and equivalent exams has been published. This Wednesday (12.10.2022), the corrected routine was posted on the official website of the Dhaka education board. The 2022 HSC exam will start on November 6th. In this post, we are going to check out the new HSC 2022 exam routine and we’ll also provide the link so that you can download the PDF.
According to the education board, the 2022 HSC and equivalent exams will start on November 6th. The theoretical examination will end on December 13th. The practical examination will start on December 16th and will end on 22nd December.
2022 HSC Exam Time or Duration
Due to the pandemic, the school and colleges had to remain closed for a long duration. All the schools and colleges started their regular operation earlier this year. Since then, everything’s going steady. The SSC examination started as planned but due to the severe flood condition, some of the exams were delayed. But overall, everything went smoothly.
The 2022 HSC examination is also planned to be held on 6th November. However, due to the lockdown, the authorities decided to hold the 2022 HSC examination on the shortened syllabus. This was done so that students don’t feel excessive pressure. The following are the HSC exam time or duration
- The exam duration will be 2 hours
- The written exam for the morning will start at 11:00 AM and will end at 01:00 PM
- The written exam for noon will start at 02:00 PM and will end at 04:00 PM
- The MCQ will be held first and then the creative/written
- Students will have 20 minutes to answer the MCQ questions
- The creative/written exam time duration will be 1 hour 40 minutes
As you may already know, students are required to enter the examination hall 30 minutes before the exam starts. Special notice for all the HSC 2022 candidates was also posted along with the exam routine. Make sure to read all of those notices to understand all the rules and regulations of the exam.

Conclusion
The previous year was very stressful for all students and teachers. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the education sector received a huge blow. This caused so much damage to students, parents, and teachers alike. It was a real issue as nobody could predict when the pandemic will end and when will the lockdown be lifted.
After a year of lockdown, finally, the schools and colleges started their physical classes with new protocols. Students had to receive 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and have to wear face masks while on the school or college premises. Students received their vaccination earlier this year and started attending classes regularly. Since then everything has been running smoothly. Hopefully, this will be the case for the rest of the year and the next.
